Blaine is very well versed when it comes to pop culture. Seeing as how DWRP thrives off pop culture, there's a chance Blaine already knows your character. This is just a list so I know what information Blaine can or can't know about your character.
Here are the types of characters Blaine would recognize:
( movies ) If your character is from a major blockbuster, Blaine probably knows of them. At the very least, he knows his Nicholas Sparks. And I personally think Blaine knows his Disney.
( tv shows ) A number of shows are mentioned on Glee, mostly reality TV shows. But if you think your character comes from a show prolific enough to reach the masses (Lost, Glee,America's Next Top Model), then drop me a note just to be safe!
( comics ) As of the fourth season, it's revealed that Blaine's a bit of a nerd when it comes to his comics, particularly Batman and X-Men. This is important if you play from Marvel or DC!
( theatre ) If your character comes from a musical or theatrical piece, Blaine knows them. No question about it.
( books ) Nothing too obscure, but if it's something out of a fairy tale or something well known like Lord of the Rings, you best fill this out.
( music ) I doubt this will come into play, but if it's a character from the Gorillaz or something, he will definitely recognize them!
( pop culture ) Blaine probably won't recognize characters from non-English accessible canons, but if it's something that made a huge wave, he'd know of it. For example, he'd recognize Ash from Pokemon but not N.
If your character doesn't fit any of the above, then feel free to disregard this post! But if you've noticed that a character of yours falls into this list, please fill out the following form. Here's what I need to know:
( game )asgardeventide or
somarium
( characters ) Name |username
( y / n ) Overall yes or no for fourthwalling
( notes ) Please let me know if there's anything you don't want Blaine blabbing about or knowing. Issues could be timeline spoilers, medium differences, or Blaine telling your character they're fictional.
